Free Concrete (Urbanite)

A few folks have contacted me wondering where to find some free urbanite. Your best bet is to try searching or posting a request on Craigslist. We will also have some info here.
Please add a comment if you know of good sources!
Just yesterday, I got a call from my friend Kas saying there were large amounts of the stuff for the taking on SE 28th and Salmon.

We’ll have about 40 square feet of concrete chunks this Friday the 18th of May at Hacienda CDC in the Cully Neighborhood. If you can’t wait till then, there’s a huge amount of concrete chunks and slabs at NE 9th and Brazee.

the concrete at Hacienda CDC is all gone. there still may be some at Yoga Union on SE 50th and Lincoln

I need a bunch of urbanite–thing is, I broke a rib and can’t load up, so I’m hoping I can pay somebody to haul as much as a couple tons of it for me to Rainier, Oregon–about 50 miles outside of Portland. Having a tough time finding it otherwise. I have people who can help me offload. Here’s the punchline–trying to have this figured out by Sunday.
Using it for a 200 square-foot cob cottage/workshop!
