Join Depave, Tualatin Riverkeepers, and Portland Community College to kick off the 2013 depaving season!

We’ll be starting at 9:30am and working until about 2pm.

Volunteers of all ages are welcome! Depave will provide volunteers with the tools, safety gear, and food. Just bring yourself.

Volunteers are encouraged to come early while it’s cool – orientation is at 9:30. However, all are welcome to come at any time during the day and stay for as long/short as desired.

Due to the physical nature of asphalt removal, volunteers are encouraged to wear long pants and clothing appropriate for tough work. Closed-toe shoes are required to depave – NO EXCEPTIONS.

We’re depaving in Lot 10 on the far north east corner of the campus – here’s the map.

Join us at Arleta School for a day of depaving for a new native learning garden and trees around the playground.
