Fargo Garden: May Workparties

April 28, 2009  |  News

Hello Depavers!

Winter is past, spring is here, and it is time to get busy at the Project DEPAVE Fargo Gardens site. After much delay, we finally have our permits to restart our work at the site. Join us every Saturday in May for fun, engaging work parties with your DEPAVE buddies! Here is the schedule:

Work starts at 11 am each Saturday and goes into the afternoon or evening — come by whenever you have a few hours to contribute. (3122 N Williams, at NE Fargo)

Sat May 30    ALL DAY Volunteer Work Party: Install gates, finish undone hardscaping, prep summer irrigation
Wow! Our fun-filled month will end with the installation of our crazy garden gates, being constructed by the talented metalsmith artist Richard Cawley. We’ll wrap up any undone hardscaping and prep the summer irrigation system for the stormwater basin and apple espalier. Food and music!

We also have a list of tasks that volunteers could complete at other days and times.  So if you want to do “more” or if you want to help but can’t do weekend labor please email us.

For the fish,
The DEPAVE Team
