Following depaving in 2009, Depave returned to the scene of the ‘pry’ in 2010 to complete additional depaving to make way for landscaping beds along the west side of the school. Drought-tolerant plantings will provide much needed shade for classrooms. This is a relatively small site, but the asphalt is very thick (approx. 6 inches). This project is funded by East Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District (EMSWCD).
