Opal K-5 School – Nature Playground

Wild Lilac PreSchool – Community Garden

We’re getting wild with the awesome gang at Wild Lilac Child Development Community to create a great big community garden for the school and the surrounding neighborhood.


Pilgrim Lutheran Church – Parking Lot Stormwater Retrofit

Ain’t no parking lot big enough! We’re giving Pilgrim a much needed green make over with a massive rain garden to treat stormwater and provide neighborhood education opportunities.


Portland Mercado – Green Community Marketplace

SE 72nd Avenue and Foster Boulevard

This exciting project is part of a larger effort being lead by Hacienda Community Development Corporation and the Portland Development Commission to develop an indoor/outdoor neighborhood market place that will primarily promote Latino merchants. This project has the potential to make a big impact for its neighborhood and Portland as a whole. Check out El Mercado Latino de Portland.


Creston K-5 School – Reading Garden

We’re ripping up the barren front courtyard at Creston School to make way for a rad new learning garden and a rain garden.


King K-8 School – Native Learning Gardens

We’re working with Green King to transform the entrances to King School with linear native gardens.


Faith Community Church – Rain Garden & Naturescaping

We’ll be teaming up with the community at Faith Community Church and area youth in east Portland to create a rain garden to capture stormwater and native landscaping around the parking lot.
