Wow oh wow it’s been a long time since we tackled this much pavement, but once again the power of teamwork prevailed! Over 100 incredible volunteers came out to bust up a serious amount of seriously thick asphalt on a perfect June afternoon. Depaving here makes way for some creative new ways to learn and explore: tree groves, climbing logs, swings, and an outdoor classroom. See the plans for the space by GreenWorks. Thanks to all the hardworking folks who spent the day with us to break ground on this awesome space.
