Terra Nova
Terra Nova School of Science & Sustainability is a hands-on, half-day experience open to high school students in the Beaverton School District. Students earn science and elective credits while participating in sustainable farming, engineering, and practicing social responsibility. Depave is partnering with Terra Nova to transform a steep asphalted hill into an outdoor classroom area with permeable pavers and benches and a native plant area. We will be engaging with high school students to teach them about watershed conservation and providing an opportunity for their capstone projects.
